Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is presently two years through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first important achievement of his distinguished career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely consider prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
